The following is a map of the fauna and its various species present in the Manas National Park. It aims to show the diversity of animals that the park is home to and make people aware of the range of rare and endangered wildlife that are not found anywhere else in the world. The park is situated in the foothills of the Eastern Himalayan mountains and the Manas river which is essentially the Brahmaputra river, flows through the west of the park. The sanctuary has recorded 55 species of mammals, 380 of birds, 50 of reptiles, and 3 of amphibians. Out of this entire wildlife 31 of them are threatened.

The map is created to bring in a fun, creative perspective and help the audience get a better understanding of the park, its fauna and its community.

The colour palette was chosen keeping in mind the geographical location of the park and the community that has functioned in the park over decades. The aboriginal illustration style also brings in a representation of the efforts and contribution of the communities towards the park.
